Lisa Reck Burneo is a garden designer based in Vienna who brings a truly distinctive flair to every garden and inner-city oasis through creativity and originality.

As a Fulbright scholar, she completed her master’s degree at the Graduate School of Arts & Science of the renowned New York University and studied at the Oxford College of Garden Design. This background provides her with a solid education and extensive expertise in the field of garden design.

Lisa Reck Burneo has designed numerous gardens in Vienna, and her unique creations reflect a strong sense of aesthetics and a deep attention to detail. She works closely with her clients to understand their individual needs and wishes, translating them into one-of-a-kind garden designs.

Royal Horticultural Society & Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Lisa Reck Burneo has also worked beyond Vienna, gaining valuable experience in gardens across the United States and England.

During her studies, she completed an internship at the long-established Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley Gardens and later worked at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the New York Horticultural Society, where she further deepened her knowledge and skills in garden design.

After returning to Vienna, Lisa Reck Burneo successfully founded and led City Farm Schönbrunn—Vienna’s first children’s garden and garden of vegetable diversity.

Thanks to her international experience and her understanding of a wide range of garden types and styles, Lisa Reck Burneo is able to create individual, tailor-made garden designs that reflect the wishes and needs of her clients.
